Kaden gave a smile and a nod to Flood before turning his attention to Kat. "What is it a crime to come back to this place?" He asked giving her a playful pout before chuckling. Then the smile was gone aand once again he slipped back into the ancient tongue. "I succeeded in recovering my mother's weapon the Witchblade" he whispered, when Kaden prepared to leave the Academy two years ago Kat was the only person he told the actual reason for his abrupt departure.

"It longer than intended, I have a couple of new scars but I can rest easier knowing that weapon will not fall into the wrong hands again." Then as if he merely took a breath his tongue reverted to English. "So I have no reason now to not come back and continue my studies...oh I did bring you a souviner by the way."
