[b]"This place is a crime."[/b] Kat muttered, but even so there was a noticeable shift in her attitude. She didn't seem as baleful or intimidating, but then she wasn't quite a ball of sunshine yet either. 

As his tone changed she matched it as she listened to the brief report of his two years. [b]"If you have learnt anything, it is that you can never rest easy Kaden."[/b] She replied in the old tongue. For all the blood that had been spilt over that weapon she didn't believe it would be so easily forgotten. Kat only hoped he had the good sense to hide it somewhere it will not be easily found, where it would slowly pass to myth and legend.

At the mention of a gift though Kat quickly brightened, a dazzling smile lighting her eyes. [b]"Something for me? You really shouldn't have."[/b] Her mock humility easy to see through.
