Aegis, The shield of Athena which has Medusa's head imprinted upon it. Strikes fear into all that see it, was later given as tribute to Zeus.
Svalinn, a shield which stands before the sun and protects earth from burning (Norse mythology).
Ancile, the shield of the Roman war god Mars.

Spear:
Ascalon, the spear that St. George used to kill the dragon.
Vel, a divine javelin associated with Hindu war god Karthikeya.
