As wonderful as the sight had appeared to the eyes of her fellow guild-mates, Nira couldn't help but feel a tinge disappointed, eyes drooping and lips parsed in a frown of dismay. All this gold and not a single bit kept for themselves. Of course, the elven huntress had to remind herself she wasn't part of the Black Horned Elks anymore. Coin, gems and precious dowry were no longer for the taking, but rather for the giving back to those who rightfully deserve it in this city of the wicked, they being the weak, the sick, the poor and the downtrodden, those stepped upon by the muddy, iron greaves of the corrupt, the tax-men, the fat-cat merchants and stuffy, haughty nobles. Though, Nirayane was rather content seeing the needy flock to the streets with coin-purses brimming at the top and pockets fat with the spoils of a well-met victory, courtesy of the guild. Ah, but what be this Nira spotted atop the head of the flustered and agitated prince stamping like an unruly toddler deprived of his toys. A crown, shimmering silver and encrusted with precious, priceless stones that glinted as stars high in the heavens. Such a crown of such wonderful, elegant craftsmanship, sure to fetch her quite a bit of coin at the fence. If no one else was going to seize the chance, why not she. With a shrill whistle she called down her feathered friend Dmitri, and with a piercing shriek in return the hawk dove upon the prince, causing the poor lad to duck, the spineless coward he was. Ah but lucky for the him, the hawk didn't pluck out his eyes with those gleaming talons of his, rather...he flew back to his lady, clutched in those very talons...the crown she lustfully eyed. "H-hey! That's my crown you damn lowlife!", He whined as his eyes beheld the elven woman, now atop the roof above him, his precious crown clutched in Nirayane's greedy hand and her partner in crime perched upon her shoulder flapping his wings as though an insult. Speaking of insult, in a defiant smirk to the brat, Nira placed the crown atop her own head and stuck her tongue out at him, before leaping from the rooftops again and cutting through an alleyway, sprinting fast and vaulting off the walls, a bit showy as in midair she tucked herself into a front flip soaring over the other fleeting thieves and landed before them resuming her swift escape. She did realize it was never wise to go after nobles, the Elks having learned that the hard way...ah but at least they didn't kill anyone and incur a wrath upon them...at least not yet of course.
