As per usual, any of you quiet GMs out there can call me out on anything I missed and so on.
Hmm yeah I suppose I didn't really go into that enough. Well since the Lore for Lucis is more or less up in the air I thought I'd add this to it: So I assume that in Lucis magic is a force of nature, like the wind. It's everywhere, but like the wind it is stronger in certain places. Magic is drawn to magic so places like mystical forests, creepy marshes, ancient ruins, these places would have more magic around them. When magical energy clumps together like that it gives births to spirits. Spirits are basically wisps of concentrated magical energy or mana, appearing as intangible floating lights. They show signs of basic awareness and react to the presence of people. These spirits are an integral part of Witchcraft as they are what power the magical enchantments in a Witch's items. Since magic is drawn to magic, the magical nature of a Witch's Familiar is what draws these spirits close enough for the Witch to trap. Edit: Let me know if this conflicts with any of the established Lore.
Bolded is surprisingly close to original lore. Anywho, don't see a reason not to let it pass. But riddle me this first, what kind of enchantments can you do with spirits? What makes spiritual enchantment different from "normal" magical enchantments?
@Grey. Theft skills. It's basically playing dirty like I poke your eye, squint lemon in your eyes and all that. Using whatever you can. It is a fighting style of Taku. Taekwondo is the dominant martial art he has. His combat skills are attained through TKD tournament and sometimes fights in school/public. He can't use magic.
Hmm, guess I kinda phrased it wrong. I meant more along the lines of what you meant when you said:
NOTE: Stealing weapons in the midst of battle, discard and use style.
Does that mean "I actually take it from your hands in the middle of fighting", "I nick your sidearm from your pocket", "I loot dead people," and/or something else?
I edited my CS.
One of us'll check it out when we possess more time.
Just one problem? Well I wasn't expecting that That dragon character is why I thought could get away with a character that had a human and animal form. I'll be honest; I feel a little awkward playing a character that is stuck in an animal form. Is there anyway that I can explain that ability that will satisfy you? How about if he was a half Unicorn who's mom shape-shifted into a human to give birth to him? If that doesn't work, then I'll just give him the human form, with unicorn powers
If you want I can always pick it apart like I do my sources analyses. And: Oh, that's not what I meant. I meant like, Dagny is a dragon. Period. Yet she has a human form. I just mean do the same thing with a unicorn since you don't require a dedicated race to achieve the same effect. So I guess the final of your points is what I'm getting at? Is being a half-unicorn particularly important to your backstory or a subplot you have planned?
Apparently not. All I've heard is "the other GMs will tell you no" and "who told you that you could."
So you want to know the specific reasoning behind why your character wasn't accepted? Or are you looking for clarification on the idea that you suggested to Varionus earlier? I can give you the former, but I'd need to consult the others on the latter.
