At this point, with all the talking Katherin and Makoto had done together, she felt it was safe to call Katherin her friend. There was also the adventure in Flood's special room the day before. [b]"You took him up on the offer, right?"[/b] she asked, more so to make sure Katherin was alright with how things had advanced with her father.

They both continued down the hall towards the cafeteria, a boy whizzing past them along the way (Connor). They were almost at the cafeteria doors now. Makoto noticed how most things seemed to be in tact from earlier's escapade.
