"Of course!" Lyall said with enthusiasm that betrayed his youth and inexperience. Truth was that he felt like his nerves would burst into flames if they were restrained a second longer. He felt like he had chains on his arms that were begging to be unlocked. He yearned for his adventure to begin already, and after smiling back at Lillith, bravely stepped into the woods as if his skin itself was made out of chain mail. He was determined to take the lead in this exploration despite his utter lack of experience compared to Lillith. Truthfully however, if he were thinking, he should of let Lillith go first since she certainly had much more protection with the potion effects but his egotism took over where experience should of. He had no idea what to suspect in the woods and while he walked with a carefree demeanor, his hand firmly grasped the hilt of his sword with such force that his knuckles were turning white.
