Hawk sucks in her cheeks. "You want to hear about 'mutant monster freaks'?" She expands her wings. "You can at least deal. You have easily features that can be easily hidden. I don't. And if I can get over people goggling me and hating me because [i]I'm[/i] different, then I'm sure that you can get over some silly little feud." She points around. "Out there in the world, people will fear you. People will hate you because they don't know what you are. You have to prove to them that you are not to be afraid of. You have to prove to them that you are here to help." Her eyes scan the room. "That's reason that some of you are here. Because you feel different. You don't need to anymore. You're among friends and once those people out there see what we can do for the good humanity, then they will see that they are wrong." Her eyes turn back to Aiden.
