Players will be expected to pursue the goal to its desired end, but will be given total freedom In how they get there.

Evil against Evil, Uruk against Orc, A Wizard Against A Necromancer
Character Limit: 3 Character Races: Uruk-Hai Plot Overview: After the Fellowship’s destruction in the mines of Moria, the One Ring was quickly transferred to Sauron’s agents. The Dark Lord was able to effect this swift hand over by projecting his influence over the region. A band of Mordor Orcs, numbering a hundred strong, were given the One Ring by the Goblin King of Moria, and are now racing to rendezvous with the Ring Wraiths at Dol Guldur. The Elves of Mirkwood, and of Lothlórien, are also searching for the One Ring in a last ditch effort to prevent Sauron’s rise. Therefore, the Orcs have travelled back westwards, and are cutting south across Dunland to reappear at the Gap of Rohan. With Isengard laying waste to the horse nation, the Mordor Orcs have little to fear from the humans, and they should be able to make their way through the country, to emerge south of Mirkwood. Meanwhile, the Ring Wraiths are attempting to track down the Orcs, so that they may convey the One Ring to the Dark Lord. However, Elven interference has so far contained them east of the Misty Mountains. This can only last for so long however. Little known to either the Orcs, Elves, the Wraiths and even Sauron himself, is Saruman’s plans to usurp his master. Three of the most promising among the ranks of the Fighting Uruk-Hai are selected for a mission that goes beyond an Orc’s ordinary duties. Their task? To track down the Mordor Orcs, and to retrieve the One Ring before it escapes Isengard’s clutches. The Westfold burns, West Emnet is cloaked in death and darkness, and the Gap of Rohan is a sea of Uruk-Hai and Dunland raiding parties. Ten thousand riders, each one a great warrior, follow their stalwart King, Eomer of Rohan, as he stampedes across his country from one engagement to the next. Though with Gondor’s fall at hand, and Isengard’s inexhaustible man-power, it may only be a matter of time before the last great King of Men falls to the darkness. Realising he needs to inflict a catastrophic defeat on Saruman’s forces before he is overwhelmed, Eomer orders his three greatest warriors to Helm's Deep, with a contingent of a thousand men. False words are spread, that the Rohirrim King is among this force, and is retreating after sustaining a serious injury. A week later, Helm's Deep’s defenders take up their positions on the ramparts, and stare down at the fruits of Eomer’s labours: twenty thousand Uruk-Hai roar up at them, baying for blood. The ploy has worked its course. All the while, Eomer leads his 9,000 remaining troops into encircling the Uruks. If the defenders of Helm's Deep can hold out for two days, which will buy Eomer time to return from East Emnet – where he has been laying low – then Saruman’s army could be shattered with a single hammer stroke of Rohirrim Steel. Faramir, his younger and capable brother lies dead on the east banks of Osgiliath. Denethor, the Steward of Gondor, has selfishly taken his own life in his peoples’ darkest hour. Both thrones to the Kingdom of the Men of Numenor are empty, and the people of Gondor prepare themselves for utter destruction. But in a peoples’ darkest hour, does there arise heroes worthy of song. On Osgiliath’s west bank, three Gondorian Lords have rallied their household troops and joined the city’s defence. With but three thousand stout hearts, do these noble men hope to hold back the tide of Mordor long enough for their peers to muster the nation’s sleeping army into existence. It is a battle these men, and their Kingdom, cannot afford to lose outright. An early defeat at Osgiliath, and Minas Tirith will fall within the week. But already, the hordes of Mordor are preparing to cross the river. There may only be so much that courage, determination and selfless sacrifice can achieve in the face of the inevitable. Rohan burns, as Saruman the Traitor leads his abominations through the realm, killing innocents left and right, and laying entire towns to waste. Eomer, the Warrior King of the Rohirrim, does what he can to champion the evil consuming everything he loves… but he is just one man, in an ocean of darkness. How long before even the stoutest mortal hearts fade into memory? Gondor is on a knife’s edge, and without a leader, the country is set to fall into oblivion the moment Mordor crosses the Anduin. Three Gondorian Lords of some renown are preparing to make their names the stuff of legend – but they, like Eomer, are just men. Men, who above all others, are weak. Our time is at its end. Middle Earth is a lost cause, and alas, we must turn over its authority to the Dark Lord. Or must we? Perhaps there is time enough, for the Elves of Middle Earth to perform one last miracle, to defeat one last evil. The One Ring must be found. It must be us to end this madness, once and for all. We will fight against all the odds, as we have always done, and we will weather all the consequential tragedies. Our blood will soak the ground of Middle Earth once more, as we sacrifice our immortality in exchange for the survival of countless others. Go to Dunland. Go to the broken land of broken men. You are the champions of our people, and the last of our hopes. Find the One Ring – take it from Sauron’s servants – and return it to us. Only then, can the Last Silvan Host march on Mordor, in a crusade that will be the end of us all, regardless of the shape a victory may take. – Thranduil, Elvenking of Mirkwood. Three Elven warriors of great renown embark upon a perilous quest, through South Mirkwood, the Brown Lands and eventually Rohan, in an attempt to intercept the One Ring as it journeys to Dol Guldur.
