Hotaru looked at the doll as Alari handed it to her and her face went blank as she tried not to get mad about the fact she was glaring, keeping in mind that she usually was glaring at him. Mera took the doll and raised a brow at the details he put in to it put put it away in to her bag as he spoke as to the reasons for them, "Interesting," she murmured before looking at him as he bowed his head and Hotaru rolled her eyes. "As if anything we do goes according to plan," Hotaru said simply. "She's right. Sit up, Alari, you've nothing to apologize for," Mera said, "It's clear that more than anything this was a tactic to mess with you," she nodded towards Larel, "There's plenty in this world we don't know or understand so why be surprised when that's suddenly thrown in our faces?" "She knows more than I do that regard," Hotaru muttered lightly, rubbing the back of her head, "But still. By comin' in here all shame faced about it, you're playin' in to her game. But I will do whatever I have to do so I don't have to win so I don't ever have to hear that smug voice talking about how "Fun" the game was," she said, making almost a gag kind of face. "That's one way to word it," Mera murmured, shaking her head at her, "Speaking of these dolls," She motioned to Hotaru's, clearly getting off of the subject on purpose, "Where is Kaori?"
