The point still stands. There's no need to warp a character just because they don't have a ridiculously strong, easy-to-use attack. Uiharu has great computer skills, which are good for support, provided you're willing to be clever about it.
Also altering a character who's weak at direct combat to suddenly be the best at it without any effort seems kinda disrespectful to said character's original concept.
