Giving the males of team SASG a nod as they asked him how he took his meat, Oswald felt his lips curl into a half-smile. "I take it medium-rare. Only way to take it out in the field. Any less is dangerous, any more takes too damn long. Thanks. And I gotta ask....how the hell did you get your hands on this much meat? It's day one of classes, after all." The scent of the steaks cooking was almost too much. He'd lived mostly on preserved food for the weeks before arriving at Beacon, and the opportunity to eat anything not packaged to last as long as possible was greatly welcomed, even if he'd already had a meal before this. It couldn't hurt to pack on the calories, especially after his sparring with Sapphire. Speaking of that girl, he couldn't help but notice she was still arguing with that green-haired dude from the table they'd been sitting at before. Oswald just shrugged and rolled his eyes. Let her get worked up over a few words between classmates, nothing he was concerned with. Marcus's arrival at the table was more pressing. And it seemed Diamond was even helping him carry his food over. Maybe this team wasn't so doomed after all. Diamond's reaction to being asked to get salt was...to be expected. Man, that kid had to be a little slow or something, to pull a stunt like that. Wasn't it obvious that she was another student? "Hey boss, glad to see you're back. Ya did good, even if it wasn't too pretty. Wish I could say the same for the rest of our team. Diamond had a hell of an opponent with that....weird ability. What kind of semblance was that anyway? Looked like it knocked the girl's attack right back at her. And Aurellius? Well...to be fair, against a guy that quick, I wonder how well I'd have done too. Sapphire's a quick little thing, but at least you can see her. Usually. Until she pulls that disappearing trick." Inclining his head towards the girl in question, Oswald shrugged. "She's good, too. Would've done well back home."
