Eli heard a ringing from his borderline archaic cell phone and was slightly surprised at just how fast that was. It was always shocked at just how respected the name of Baba Yaga was. In certain worlds it was an all access pass to anything or anyone he wanted. In others, it was a death sentence, one that people would love to executed, still loved the power it held.

When he heard the voice on the other end of the line he couldn't help but smile.

"Shade! Is that you old boy? My lord its been an age! How's the underground crime world been treating you?"

Eli was more than a little surprised to find out that Shade was the one that answered his call. He was reminded that his, Aster had recently blown something  up and had been killed or something of the like. Eli was going to sure not say anything about it or talk about how helpful that was for Eli to get back under the radar after the LAPD incident.
