Eric was taken by complete surprise when the big fellow grabbed him. Maybe in another place and another time Eric would have knocked his hand aside and confront him, but the truth is he is not a fighter and he had used all his adrenaline dealing with the last mugger. 

"Eric." He said shortly, "and I am by no means interesting."
