Except Transformium (ugh) doesn't provide instantaneous regeneration. Otherwise cybertronians wouldn't need medics and parts in its source universe, and we've seen that is not the case. Even with the drones introduced with Transformium (ugh) as a plot device, they don't regenerate at all, it just gives them the ability to turn into a sort of liquid metal cloud to shift between two pre-programmed shapes, granting them some extra ability to avoid damage and effectively turning them into Transmorphers rather than Transformers. Hell, even that bit is, apparently, because of their lack of sparks, ruling out that actual cybertronians would be able to do so.

At best it could be taken as a substance that can be used to readily manufacture replacement parts with more ease.
