Makoto holds in a cry of pain as the darkness' hold on him intensifies, pulling him and Minako closer to the glowing red core. The next thing he knew, he felt something similar to a burning sensation on his right hand, a mystical tattoo of his own being etched into his skin, giving off a dark blue glow. The next thing he knew, he began feeling some sort of intense sensation..something akin to hunger. Before he can fully figure it out, however, he blacks out again, the pain finally taking its toll on him as his adrenaline begins wearing down.
