Considering the many new characters they are going to be introducing in the second Avengers (Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, the Vision, possibly Black Panther), DC has kind of been put into a corner in order to compete. I say if Marvel is able to pull it off when Age Of Ultron comes out, DC might have a chance.
