During the Battle Phase, if two armies have moved into the same region, a battle is possible.  I will provide a map of the battlefield, along with the locations of both camps.  The battle only begins if one of the belligerents fields their army (which will force the other side to field their army, or retreat).  If neither side fields their army, a battle will not take place and the RP will move on.

When you 'field your army', you will need to convey their formation via diagram using the battlefield's map I provided you.  The other side will respond by similarly posting their own formation.  You can also convey this via IC, like your commanders discussing plans in their tent.

Once both armies have been deployed, the battle begins.  You will both post once, and then await my reply.  In your post you must explain the orders you want give your army.
