Cynthia's eyes turned dark and her face lost all trace of emotion. "Aiden had a very good reason to be upset. We all had one, but Aiden probably had the worst of it. Maybe Sable would tell you what happened, but I doubt it, and you would do well not to bring it up again." She closed her book and stood up, brushing herself off.

"I should go find where Sable ran off to. I'll see you later."
