Caroline had been ready for an attack, so it was easy to redirect her attention. "Artifact make! Magmolten Lash!" She yelled, whipping her top hand up over her head as an actual whip formed in it. She brought the whip down while fire played around it, easilly burning the mist away and revealing her targets. She melted one with the lash, and spun around and kicked the other, breaking it. "Whew, I have to thank your Tai Kwan Do training on that Gwen." She watched as the stranger focused his attacks on the other woman, seeming to ignore her, but she kept her lash out just in case.
