Meruin looked surprised upon seeing Sol. She gave a wide smile that was rarely seen and got Sol into a small hug. When she released him, she spoke.

"It's good to see you again, Sol. I've been busy since the . . . incident, and I must say I am doing fine, How about you? What happened to your eye?"

Before she could get Sol's response, Cornelia joined in on the conversation, much to Meruin's slight annoyance, although she did not show it. She turned to Cornelia and gave a half-hearted nod.

"Perhaps I am? I admit I am strong, but the term strong is relative. At the very least, I can certainly say I am just the third in rank among the Council Members," she stated.
