Not really.  Different people have different sets of powers based on their personalities, so your powers have a theme, but that theme can be almost anything.  Also, powers comply with the laws of physics, so their needs to be a physics link between your powers.  Ex:  In one RP I have shadow powers, such as hiding myself by thickening the shadows around me and blinding people.  I also have the ability to use shadows as portals.  Because the last one doesn't really have a physics link to the others (shadows are the absence of light, not openings to other dimensions) I couldn't have portal powers in this RP, unless I had a different theme to my powers (such as hyperspace, subspace, Telekinesis, Quantum phenomenon, etc.).
