Meruin just stared after Cornelia, then turned to Sol. It was nothing new - people were gunning for her position all the time. It was rather tiring really, and at times she just felt like dropping the position altogether; the only thing preventing her from doing so was her own pride, however twisted it may be. 

Oh, but one thing about what Cornelia said did bother her . . .

"Significant Other? So you are lovers then? It seems you have indeed been busy Sol," said Meruin neutrally. "Congratulations, by the way. Is there a wedding planned?"

Naturally, she was completely serious.
