Glad to be home, and that everyone's back to chattering in the OOC. I think a big part of keeping games alive for the long haul is an active OOC. 

I'd hoped if the tv and movie universes weren't gonna be the same expanded universe that they'd actually cast a blonde as Barry Allen. I love the Flash tv series and Grant has warmed me over but the character has gotta have blonde hair in some universe before everybody goes through the everyday Spidey complex. My son's first reaction to the show, mind you he's five, said 'Daddy that guy looks more like Peter Parker than the Flash!' and he was right. The guy playing Thawne looks more like Barry. 

I read somewhere WB was down for Arrow crossing over until the Flash was cast as an unknown for the most part and they didn't wanna use him as the Flash. So instead they get somebody who's virtually an unknown who looks even less like Barry than Grant. Blows my mind. I thought it was cool Brandon Routhe was originally supposed to play a version of Ted Kord/Blue Beetle but rights issues arose so they changed course early on to make him the Atom instead. And it actually makes more sense, because Palmer was originally a teacher in Ivy Town rather than some big business man. Kord always had his own enterprise and I'm kinda bummed BB didn't happen. Can't wait to see who else shows up, I'm looking forward to the Vixen online animated series that's supposed to tie into Arrow/Flash. We needed more women who had powers and not just leather jacket clad vigilantes. I hope Eiling didn't get killed by Grodd cause he could still become the Shaggy Man down the road...
