She nodded when he mentioned the details. She wouldn't blame him for wanting to stick her with the dirty bits of the job, but she was fine with it. Bats didn't bother her too much. She saw plenty rats in her lifetime and bats were a lot like rats to her except for the whole flying bit. Finishing her food, she leaned back and sighed feeling full and tired. Amelia watched as a group of men came into tavern. She knew their faces. It was time to go upstairs before things got rough. She didn't live to be 25 by being stupid. Watching Rhett get up to confront them made her snort. Looks like someone wants to play hero, fine then. While Rhett rough housed with a bunch of men, she would be sleeping in the first bed that wasn't filled with bed bugs in years. Amelia took the long way around to get to the stairs and made her way back to the room. The possible violence also reminded her that she probably needed to obtain some sort of knife. A gun would be silly for close quarter altercations. (edited)
