Meruin stayed silent and shook off some embarrassing memories about Tyler. Him being the primary reason for having discovered her Girmoire, she had some magically induced feelings for him for awhile. Though intense, they passed eventually, but they were still embarrassing. 

"Slow but steady," responded Meruin in reference to her Gimoire. "I added thirteen extra pages, so despite the slowing down, I have not much to complain about. In any case, it is likewise good to see you again, Tyler."

Prior to the battle, Meruin had several glowing books set up. She smiled at Ryan and Sol. "Well, yes, nothing much really has changed, although it feels funny to be an observer instead of a participant."
