important questions:

- do I have to control a human to participate in this? every character so far has been a human and most(?) if not all are accompanied by a Pokemon, but I'm wondering about a mere Pokemon itself.
- obviously if this were the case it would make little sense if I were to control something so insignificant such as a herd of Zigzagoon, for instance, so if this were the case, would I pick a legendary Pokemon that was not already taken? an idea I had was taking possession of a minor legendary (not a cover legendary like Groudon/Kyogre/Dialga/Palkia/etc, but a minor one like one of the three Johto dogs). with this I'd have the skill of telepathy in order to communicate with humans but not have to go to the trouble of controlling the human as well so I could just focus on the Pokemon
