Possibly, Aiden's not really good with emotions right now, as spending two weeks vy yourself while being in a not so good mental state can do to you. Aiden does care for both of them, and his way of showing it is by trying to make them get together. Sable and Cynthia's little moment at the funeral didn't go unseen.
