While I suspect this is probably true for the most part, do you have any evidence to support this claim? Also I think that while the Altmer have always been purists, the whole eugenics thing was hijacked by the Thalmor. And at the end of the day each individual is different so its not completely outside the realms of possibility that a Altmer would do interracial.

Speaking of interacial breeding I think there was a book about it somewhere in one of the ES games, I will try to look for it
