Makoto keeping a weather ear and eye out for Phoebe managed to catch a bit of Flood's self-talk. She paused in her eating, curiosity causing her to respond. 

[b]"What?"[/b] Makoto looked up, not really seeing much until she realized there was a well hidden shape that didn't quite belong. It was spherical and dark to match the ceiling and shadows, but the beams were all very straight edged. She focused her gaze on it. [b]"Flood, do you know what that is?"[/b] she asked, squinting at the object, trying to get a better look.
