Anyway, some limitations to the power will definitely help. From what I'm seeing, the power to control the very presence of sound would actually be more suitable for teachers (not to mention, but [@Unfortunately] already has a character who can manipulate a very similar ability). Putting limitations for a student character can make things less troublesome for troublemakers who want to make some plot, and can actually allow the Power to evolve into a strange way we never thought of before. Another option is to simply describe with more detail on how the Power works, considering how I'm judging the power based on a small and simple description.

I honestly don't have a say in whether this guy needs Enhanced Senses to be changed or not due to the fact that he has nothing else other than Sound Manipulation as a source of power, so I'll leave that fully up for you to decide. If Enhanced Senses somehow connects at least loosely with his Sound Manipulation power, however, I think something we'd be able to see something very interesting.
