[s]True, but  firearm law actually exists in the current China[/s], so it stands to reason that if they're lenient on guns of all things then swords wouldn't really make a difference...
That's my logic behind it anyway.

I think the lenience is born from the 'Demons', naturally people should be able to protect themselves in this new hostile age, or soon to be.
Anyway, I don't know and probably should have asked first, just got to wait for one of the gm's.
