And with that, the horde of monsters were all destroyed, covering the place with blood and ichor. The group would then, if they so chose, proceed deeper into Aperture Tower, where they would encoutner battle drones, mundane guardsmen, and auto-turrets and sentry guns, as well as plenty of abandoned offices. Finally, they would enter the Executive office...where they would find Director Doctor David Taylor, the CEO of Aperture...and the dead bodies of Bloodrune and Cypress. As a precaution, David had sprayed himself with Bloodrune's blood, making him immune to superpowers, meaning that Adam's hardlight constructs won't do anything against him; however, Mountain Lion's claws can still tear him apart, as those were [i]physical alterations[/i] as well as powers.

"So, Gary Stuart, instead of coming here, instead sent his most valuable minions to die at my hand; never figured him out to be a coward. Nevertheless," the CEO said, "I now have the powers of said valuable minions, as well as much, much [i]more[/i]." And with that, he launched lightning bolts from his hands, arcing out to everyone in the group; said lightning bolts were as fast as light, so only shields just as fast can withstand the onslaught.

But lightning bolts were not the only power of David Taylor; should the group manage to put up a defense against them after all, they would find that he had vanished from his chair, and appeared behind the group; a combination of Friction/Cypress, Wire, and Alec/Lighthouse's powers - yeah, he killed Wire and managed to acquire some of Alec's blood as well. This combination allowed him to use several powers simultaneously...

...First conjuring up seven swords made up of an unknown metal that can only be conjured up by Metahumans, swords which came at each member of the group at once, and, when they hit, would cause whatever they touched to explode. This occured at the same time as a psychic assault upon Dean, an assault meant to weaken the boundaries he placed on the homicidal Jenni. This psychic assault was enhanced by Wire and Alec's powers, meaning that Dean would, at the very least, be removed from the equation. With Adam, the ground beneath him would turn into quicksand, allowing the swords coming towards him to strike, while with Mountain Lion, David Taylor would emit a high-pitched screech that would disrupt the Metahuman's enhanced animal senses.

As for Light, the Director would create a Piano Construct and cause it to fall on her head, and failing that, a hammer or a giant mousetrap. That left Alto, whose Alien Symbiotes did not count as Metahuman powers and so could harm David Taylor. Using Alec's 'Cerebro Mode', the man conducted a series of multi-level assaults; physical, mental, and emotional.

The Physical assault was the aforementioned swords, but now it was coupled by a flare of molten [i]stellar matter[/i] that can melt even Alto's technology. At the same time, David Taylor was besieging the 17-year old's mind with visions of his parents dying horrible deaths, while using emotion manipulation powers to make Alto [i]feel good[/i] about said visions, which in turn made the young man feel naturally guilty.
