They get too many pokes at once. Especially new eggs just laid xD so it's a good idea to keep a eye on them to make sure they don't get sick then die.

Edit: Good news everyone, both eggs made a recovery, but I'm going to keep them hidden for a little while to rest up ^^ *pets eggs*
