Jacob doesn't take offense, he's not some over sensitive idiot who takes offense on every single comment. He was quiet and ignores John Keller's attempts to lighten up, in which he appreciates, by the way, he just sees no reason to play along. So yeah, stoic as ever.

Jecob was especially interested in the R&D Department, mentally making a reminder to check it out sometime, he wants to improve his abilities as possible.

He was surprised that he was a given an assignment already, but it's happening now, right? So he better just complete it.

"Any questions before I leave you?" 

"No, sir," he saluted in respect. "I learned what is essential, and that's what matters," he added thoughtfully." At that, the corner of his lips tugged to a half-smile. "I'll prepare for my mission. Thank you for the tour."
