Vivian watched the two clash for a moment before snapping back to her senses. Still holding the handgun, she holstered it quickly before latching onto the gurney with deathly seriousness. She pushed as if she were being chased, which for all she knew, she was. She didn't look back to confirm it, she didn't have time to look with all the weaving and strafing she was doing with the gurney in front of her. She stepped side to side and moved the gurney accordingly with a sort of clumsy grace, partly to manoeuvre the bed to fit through the various obstacles of the medbay and equally to minimise any chance of being hit by a projectile. She felt her skin burning as she moved, and barely even noticed that her body was becoming absolutely luminous in reaction to all the panic and terror running through her system. Her skin was the harsh golden of unfiltered sunlight as she exuded light like a burning spotlight. It helped somewhat when it came to finding her way around, but it only helped to accelerate her fears by making her stand out and making her a target. 'This is going to be the end of me unless I can smack this dude into the evacuation area and get gone quickly.' There was only a few stragglers left around the evacuation area, on the other side of the complex, staff ready to take the gurney and whisk it away to who knows where. She took deep breaths as she approached to calm herself and dim her light. She handed over the gurney in short order, the staff taking it and beginning to shuffle it away into an emergency exit tunnel of some sort, she was not familiar with it as she had not been deemed high enough on the chain of command to be told. The next words from the worker's mouths made her heart sink into her knees. "Sorry Viv, but we're all full! Y'gotta see if you can slip out the front door or somethin' because this way is just gonna leave you stranded when we get to the transports!" She bit her lip until it was close to bleeding, but nodded in the affirmative to show she understood. Though they weren't moving Wolf's bed just yet, she left them to their work, sure that they would have him away in due time. With panicked breaths and illuminated steps, she wandered back into the base slowly. She swivelled and peeked around every corner and over every overturned bed that she came upon. She had to be smart about this, remain calm so she didn't light up the place. With a deep breath, she swept her hand over a nearby fallen light fixture and seemed to siphon the very light that is was emitting. She felt her body warming up and her energy to move rising as she ambient light faded, plunging her into an area of slightly darker shadow that followed her as she moved from hiding place to hiding place, making her harder to spot with the naked eye. She pulled the handgun from her belt once more, feeling the weight and coolness of the metal within her slender, smooth fingers. Just holding it felt dirty, but she held it all the same. 'Better to have it and not want it, and all.' She grimaced as she pushed herself up to move again, hiding beneath a desk as a group of rebels opened fire upon a pair of drones nearby. She could only watch on and move slowly past, dim shadow following her and making her harder to spot. She had to get back to the front of the base, which meant going back through the medbay. Back through the action and violence.
