Okay, I have an idea, but I need to know if the power would be acceptable or if it would be considered OP. My idea is that my character can cover himself with and change the shape of any solid material he comes into contact with. He can only change the shape once it has bonded to him. Would this be okay? I'm sure I could come up with some sort of drawback for it if you think it's necessary.
