Samantha - Baton Rouge - Abram Samantha had kept her eyes on Abram after she spoke out loud. Luckily, his thoughts were aligned with hers as he told her about the back door. With a small nod, Sam complied and sprinted towards the truck without looking back. 'That was one hell of a signal' she thought as she jumped into the truck and scrambled to get it started. When the truck finally started, Abram was already well on his way, and by the time he was in the passengers seat, she had already put the truck in gear and stepped on the accelerator. The truck peeled out of the mall parking lot within less than a minute, Samantha's heart pounding hard against her chest. "I'm not being taken again, Abram... You don't know what those kind of assholes have done to me." Her eyes stayed on the road as she maneuvered around a few stray cars and got on the highway, back towards where they had came from. Although it seemed as if they had left the threat behind them, she didn't go any less than ninety miles an hour. The only other threat the two had right now was the gas left in the truck. As she drove, Sam whispered a nearly silent prayer, hoping that if there was a god, he'd hear her out.
