lol me too. Hence my above post. I've been trying to avoid that trope even when I created my character. Hope I succeed when I play him.

I guess for that, we'd have to rely on players letting each other take the limelight once in a while. I've already got alot of ideas to put Hisashi off duty once in a while, and it's not going to be very pleasant in some cases.
