Yeah, the Shunshin is a simple technique that most people just learn. I specified that Satoshi has specifically worked to master it, however, and has formed the Shunpo; which makes Shunshin actually viable and useful in combat. The regular Shunshin, I think, requires a hand-seal, and a few seconds to form the chakra, and even then, you have to focus on the location to go to, and due to it's inefficiency in combat, it's only used for long distance travel. ^^
