Well last time I checked you didn't actually fight any aliens, you just had your guy shoving people, which is fine. But I thought maybe you were waiting for more to happen before you continued or joined in somehow. 

[Edit]: I feel that enough has happened for me to advance our beginning story slightly and I can include your guy in the next post.
