Lazarus He smiled a little. Before tucking a piece of paper into Joshua's pocket. "I told you. Get Jarvis to take you there." He winked, looking towards Joshua's pocket. "I've given you everything need kid. Take those two and go for crying out loud." He was about to continue when from the corner of his eye edo-sasha, came at him, full blazing. He reacted very lately, but sort of spun, allowing her to almost phase past him. "Go Joshua!" He cracked his knuckles. "I already told you I didn't want to fight." He grunted. "I have enough faith in my counterpart to complete his mission." He glared, before continuing. "When you love someone. It's hard not to want to be with them." He clenched his fists. "It's kind of ironic. That you are stopping me, from being with you, eh sasha?" He grinned somewhat. "I will not hurt my comrades. You say this world is different. Your values are different. That you are different people.... But you don't strike me as the kind of guild that would stop a man from doing what he thinks is right." He turned on the spot, waving a hand at Joshua. "Take my place Joshua. Go and help my counterpart. Everything you need to know is right in your pocket." He then spoke over his shoulder to the rest of the room. If you need me, I'll be back in here." He walked in, with a commanding presence, before closing the door and sitting down. He was back in the room he had started in. The urge not to fight was almost too strong back then. He had surpassed his former self. Edo-Lazarus He shook his head. "Figures." He sighed. He just had to wait and see what happened next, it was the only choice he had. "Do what you like Pen. But don't you dare say nobody ever cared about you. I was the only one... as kids... the only one who thought of you as a friend. I put my faith in us to make something better of ourselves... and we did. It's a shame we couldn't see it through together until the end." He frowned. He heard a clattering of chain mail and boots on the ground. "There they are! Charge! For your commander!" Lazarus looked in the direction. He smiled a little. The young man he had sent away, had brought back men, roughly equal in number to the men Pen had with him, but by far no where near the ability. They were only city guards after all. "Get them!" Lazarus figured, Pen's guards would have to at least dispatch of the men that had come firstly. He bowed his head. 'thank you men.' He would use this chance. He drew his sword and lurched forward, swinging at Pen, to lock blades if Pen were of course to block.
