I know I already asked, but just to double-check; when we have characters travelling, is it absolutely necessary we describe the [i]whole[/i] thing? Can't we skip a little bit, at least? Not trying to be awkward, I just don't think I'd be able to maintain my attention span long enough to do such a thing. Also, conservation of detail and whatnot.
