The biggest advantage so far really being: He hasn't been using 'high cost' spells. While he [i]is[/i] amplifying the motion of his sword, he's mostly just been redirecting her attacks to either defend himself, or give him an advantage. Something I'm sure even a lot of wizards in Earthland don't run into very often, much less in Edolas. While I figure she has to put a bit of effort into her strikes. That and once you start losing a fight, it's actually harder to come back than Fairy Tail makes it look.
