Bolt hasn't specifically killed anyone yet, but if you do plan on it try to keep it down. Keep in mind some of your attacks won't work as well as you would hope. For example that time you tried to kill all those civilians and those ships, I let the ships go down and the civilians were still injured or trapped but you didn't kill to many.
