I figured either we'd go into the Red Lantern thing ASAP, but wasn't sure about the trimmed cast. I'm sure everyone who's left would be up for the challenge, but the other option was just a downtime arc like you suggested with hijinks at some point. The idea was once Legion got going, the team would show up on the trail of the RL in YJ to tie the universe together and make it more of a spin off after recruiting Supergirl. That would probably work better with the smaller amount of players now that I think about it.
