Dark Matter glared at Konrad as he gave his rebuttal. Before he could continue their little discussion, Jason stepped in and attacked Konrad as well. The dark creature watched with anger filled in his heart as Konrad spoke, imagining what it would feel like to slice his throat open and drink his blood. Dark was brought back from his evil thoughts at the sound of Konrad leaving and closing the door that sealed them all within these walls."He's right, you know." Dark crossed his arms and said, speaking to Jason but not looking over to him."He would wipe the floor with either of us, perhaps both of us, in a fair fight." Then Dark's mouth twitched."That's why we don't fight fair." Dark Matter turned and walked over to his chair where he always sat, and did so. He turned towards the television as it was suddenly switched on. Dark couldn't remember how many of these torture sessions he had watched in this same change. How many people had lost limbs and eyes on that same table. He'd been here too long. When Dark spoke to Konrad, he hadn't been thinking of the girl. He hadn't been considering morals. Dark had only been trying to get under Konrad's skin. It hadn't worked, though. Those talks never yielded much of anything. Dark Matter stared at the television screen in silence. There was a feeling in Dark's chest, one that only ever rose up when someone innocent sat on that table. Perhaps it was pity. Perhaps it was some sick joy from watching a child suffer. He didn't know, nor did he wish to discover which was true. Dark glanced over at Jason as the boy gave in to rage. Dark was going to shrug it off as him being emotional, but when Jason turned on the guards..He knew something was going to go down. Jason may have snapped, and looked to be about to do something stupid."Jason.." Dark warned."Don't."
