I like to think a certain fighter pilot got Tori killed in some crazy way. In a previous 1x1 RP with Vietmyke, a hotshot space fighter pilot was transferred to the team with an experimental MAS. She was very, very easy to get a rise out of when her pride was at stake, usually doing things regulations wouldn't recommend. Now I'm not sure that little side RP we did is canon in this universe, but if it is, I can see the brother not taking a liking to many SF pilots anymore. That is, if she had anything to do with her death. She is completely aware of her ability, and she isn't afraid to show it. She comes off as a bit cocky and somewhat of a show-off, but who doesn't want their five minutes of fame? She has an aggressive attitude when her pride is at stake, usually accepting a challenge to prove her worth. Though it may not seem like it, Lynn is a team player; she pilots the XHMAS/SF and usually fights alone, but she answers the call when back up is needed (albeit with a hell of an entry). She prefers older music, older clothes and likes to play the classic bar game, eight ball pool. Military Record Madelynn Serras began her career as an SF pilot when she was twenty-two. She started her service aboard a frigate, which had a hangar carrying a single flight of SF crafts. Her first engagement with the Coalition forces happened five days after being posted to the frigate, an ambush looking to cut the frigate off from its parent fleet. The strike took place within an asteroid field, and the singular flight deployed moments after the coalition SF's were on radar. Her unit, known as Dragon flight and consisting of five SF's, held off the eighteen that were attempting the raid. The point defense systems on the frigate along with Dragon flight's efforts destroyed fourteen of the fighters, the remaining four retreated. Lynn scored two kills. Months later, Madelynn saw her first real battle. A warzone where frigates fought in squadrons. Cruisers challenging cruisers. Battleships slicing paths through each other's fleets. She saw boarding pods and entire wings of fighters. She saw bombing runs and planetary strikes. It was a true battle. This was known as the Battle for Harrun, a strategically valuable moon orbiting a large blue gas giant. During this battle, Madelynn scored twelve kills and completed fourteen attack runs on smaller Coalition ships. In UEE Navy standards, after ten kills, you're considered an ace; and Madelynn was nothing short of one. Her most notable action, and the one which landed her a place in the XHMAS/SF project, was the upper atmospheric battle, the Battle of Taizan. This was a battle which took place between a crippled UEE battlegroup, consisting of a carrier, two cruisers and a singular destroyer. The Coalition fleet responsible for the UEE's loss was resupplying at the desert planet Taizan. With heavy losses, the battlegroup formulated a plan. The very instant the battlegroup warped into proximity of Taizan's military resupply station, they opened fire, not taking the moment to find targeting solutions. This sudden strike resulted in the destruction of the Coalition fleet's capital ship and three heavy cruisers, the hard hitters of the fleet. With their presence known, they immediately scrambled their fighters and deployed the remainder of the fleet. Madelynn and the highly successful Dragon flight, along with four other squadrons, met the Coalition fighters head on. As the UEE battlegroup pressed on, the dogfight moved with it. What resulted was a battle in the upper atmosphere of Taizan, creating a floor for the SF's where they wouldn't be able to operate. Having lost two of the five SF's that made up Dragon flight, and an overall sixty-seven percent of the entire fighter wing that deployed, the UEE was beginning to get short on options. What made Madelynn the hero of the battle, was that she flew below the operational floor, into the lower atmosphere of Taizan, her shields protecting her SF from the burn-in. Now diving straight to the surface of the planet with fighter that couldn't maneuver, she saw her target. The suspension cable for the orbital elevator. She shot her last remaining missile at the base of the cable, destabilizing it. Luckily, Taizan was not a colony, it had no notable resources to sustain one. The orbital elevator fell to Taizan, crashing its fifty kilometer long suspension cable along the planet, and taking the station at the top with it. Madelynn was forced to eject from her useless SF, and parachuted to the surface moments after the elevator went down. With the station destroyed, the Coalition fleet was stunned. The UEE seized the moment and destroyed the fleet, one hundred percent. Madelynn was rescued a day later as a relief fleet arrived at Taizan. She was decorated for her efforts and offered a place in a new project, the development of the first generation XHMAS/SF. She was transferred to Mars, familiar ground to her since she was just one planet away from her home on Earth. There, she lived on a top secret base, Mogatessu, testing out the earliest prototypes of the new MAS/Fighter hybrid. She spent four years on Mars, and is now being transferred to the 7th MAS brigade, along with the new experimental XHMAS/SF, something she had grown to love.

Appearance Designation XHMAS/SF Gen1 (Experimental Hybrid Mobile Armor Suit / Space Fighter Generation 1) Role Space/Air Superiority, Close Air Support Chassis Light [18/25 weight used] Engine 3 internal experimental cores (+ external Cores) [20/30(40) power used] Operating Time 10 hours (20 if external cores are attached) Description The XHMAS/SF Generation 1 is a prototype MAS in the field testing stage of development. It was built to fill the roles of both fighter craft and MAS. Sacrifices to its armor were made to incorporate the mode changing systems and advanced technology. But in the hands of the right pilot, the light armor shouldn't be a concern. It has two modes, MAS mode, taking on its humanoid ground combat form to assist soldiers on the front lines. And SF mode, adjusting its airframe to operate in vacuum and in atmosphere for air support and domination of the skies and the heavens. Due to the price of these new war machines, the UEE has hand picked only the best and most adaptive pilots in the UEE navy. These pilots are first taught the SF mode, what they're familiar to, then they are trained in a standard Sentry Mk2 to get the feel of how a MAS handles. From their, they are trained to handle MAS mode in space, and finally on the ground. This new breed of predator is a rare and extraordinary sight on the battlefield, with only two hundred units built to perform field testing across all fronts. The XHMAS/SF is constantly undergoing modifications and rearming to optimize its performance, its a rapidly evolving machine and so its pilots need to be as well. Systems Improved Suspension System +10w; 5p Experimental Reactor Power Doubled External Power Cores - Mounted on the outermost hardpoint underneath each wing. +10 Power Countermeasure Systems Class 2 Shields 5w; 5p Upgraded Internal Targeting 3p RFC-300 Mk2 The Rapid Flechette Cannon is the standard fighter to fighter cannon for UEE space fighters. Firing at six thousand rounds per minute, the RFC offers the pilot a healthy twenty seconds of firing time, with a magazine capacity of two thousand rounds. For the XH MAS/SF, the RFC has been modified; when the prototype is in MAS mode, its rate of fire drops to six hundred rounds per minute. This prototype version of the RFC, the mark two, can not take other types of ammunition, however, so the cannon doesn't fare too well against armor above medium class. The RFC is mounted to the right of the cockpit when in SF mode. In MAS mode, the cannon is located on the right arm, attached to the forearm. Ballistic Weapon - 5w; 2p 6x (in space, 2x in atmosphere) Kestrel AS/AS Missiles As air/space to air/space missiles, the kestrels feature smart tracking and high aspect systems. They close in on the target quickly and use a dual phase detonation. The first phase is a plasma charge which melts and pierces armor for the high explosive warhead to penetrate the target and detonate within. Since they're fairly heavy, kestrels are mainly used with dedicated space fighter craft, where weight isn't a concern. If an atmospheric fighter craft is loaded with kestrels, they may only take two, so that they can also come armed with various other weapon systems needed for the mission. The most unique feature the kestrel has is its lock-on system. Where most missiles target heat or electronic signatures, the kestrels track radio sources from the target. This is common knowledge to anybody who has been up against a kestrel, yet they're still deadly. The reasoning behind this is because the victim of a kestrel has a choice, cut themselves off from command and vital intelligence and forget about requesting assistance, or run the risk of having a kestrel take you down. By locking onto radio sources, kestrels aren't effected by flares or EM masking. This makes kestrels able to target any powerful radio source, from an SF to a MAS, a specific command vehicle and even the occasional soldier unlucky enough to carry the squad's comm equipment. When in MAS mode, the kestrels remain inside until needing to be fired, where they fire upward from the back, adopting a vertical take off style of attack for ground engagements. When in SF mode, the kestrels are internally stored, and lowered through the belly of the fuselage when needed for firing. Internal Heavy Missiles - 4w; 3p 2x Jackal MPR Pods Multi-Purpose Rocket Pods, the Jackals are the go to rockets when punching through armor of any sort is needed. Jackals are dummy fire rockets which are used to pierce the armor of corvette and frigate class space ships and MAS armor for when they're needed to provide close air support. Their pods consist of eighteen tubes each, granting thirty six rockets when the pods are paired together. When in SF mode, the rockets are mounted on the innermost wing hardpoints. When in MAS mode, the pods are set on each shoulder. External Rocket Launchers - 4w; 2p
This would be said hotshot SF pilot & experimental MAS. EDIT: On a side note, I have to go to work. But afterward I'll have my post done for you all.
