Though what Sara meant when she said "Regulars" is non-101st MAS Pilots. There is the 101st, which is the OG MAS division, and then a couple other MAS divisions. The 101st is a special forces legion, so all the pilots and stuff are supposed to be top notch- emphasizing individuality and unorthodox strategies and the like. Whereas the other MAS divisions are are mass-produced cookie cutter pilots, designed to eventually replace aerospace fighers as a whole. In general, the other MAS divisions are nowhere near as talented as the 101st, resulting in the 101st calling them "Regulars". Its a bit derogatory I guess.
