Personality: Ray-Ray is seen as a serious young man with a moderate sense of humor. He acts like a gentleman since that the way he was raised. Ray-Ray is seen as a pessimist, he tends to expect the worse to happen when the wrong, or illogical choice is made. He uses sheer logic to solve his problems and looks down on those who think that willpower will get them far in life.
Ray-Ray tends to doubt himself anytime he makes an important decision. He tries to hard to make the best choice, the most logical choice. And if he makes a bad decision, he criticizes himself mercilessly. 

Background: Ray-Ray was born on the island of Minon in the North Blue. His father was a Ship right, and brought in his 2 sons, Ray-Ray and Lionel as apprentices. Ray-Ray instantly grasped the trade and within a few years he became a journeyman and started to work with his father company. Unfortunately, his younger brother, could not grasp the concept as easily, this angered him. His father encouraged him to keep on trying and did his best to teach him in ways Lionel would understand, but it did not work. Lionel decided to pursue a different trade, he joined a group of amateur pirates and set sail with one of his father's ships. Ray-Ray's father was devastated and fell into depression. They would regularly get calls from Lionel, until one day, they never got a call. Lionel did not call for days on end, this worried Ray-Ray and his father. Ray-Ray longed to go out to see and find his brother, but no one would take him in. One day, when Ray-Ray was sitting under a tree, eating his lunch, a fruit feel from its branches. He knew this tree well enough to know that it did not produce fruit. Ray-Ray took a bite, and through the fruit away due to its bad taste. After a few second, and to his surprise, his hand turned into a silver-white liquid right before his eyes. After realizing his abilities, this encouraged Ray-Ray to leave home, confident that he could take on whatever had taken his brother. He ran away from his hometown and payed a merchant his life savings to take him to people who could help him find his brother.
